Dead Ox Trailblazers encourage everyone to get active outdoors in all seasons.
We offer a variety of programs for all ages, interests and abilities.
In winter we provide cross country ski lessons, snowshoeing and various outings. Winter biking is our newest offer.
Spring, summer & fall programs include a hiking group, a mountain bike program and paddling outings.
The hiking & walking continues into the fall.

Trails & Dead Ox Trailblazers
Trails are what we are all about - advocating, riding, walking, skiing, maintaining, protecting, building and grooming them.
After a snowfall you will see Dead Ox Trailblazers' Volunteers out grooming cross country ski & fat biking trails in RMNP & other areas.
Dead Ox Trailblazers are members of the Riding Mountain Trail Stewards Association. This is the fifth season that the Riding Mountain Trail Stewards Association will be active in maintaining the precious trail resource system that exists within the National Park during the winter season. We are very excited and encouraged by the efforts that the local park management and staff have exercised since 2012 in both supporting our activities and trying to create the business case within their own organization that will allow winter services to return on a full time basis to RMNP.
We are also very thankful and appreciative to all of our partners, ski enthusiasts and local activists groups that have assisted us over the years.
